Beschrijving
A hard japanese finishing stone (awasedo) with strong abrasive properties resulting in a good finish
It is a good stone presenting Goma (lotus seeds) and Kan (tree ring) patterns
The stone is lapped, chamfered and sealed - ready for use.
On one of the ends (pic 6) there is some flaking, but it runs parallel to the surface and it will be gone in 1mm of lapping, but until then it's chamfered below the working surface as not to waste stone material
Has been used with Mikawa Asano nagura progression, water only, diamond plate slurry and performs great.
