Vintage from the 1900sBeautiful Quality Print Of King James II as an Infant, After the Original by Sir Anthony Van Dyck in a Gorgeous Arts and Crafts Frame

This adorable Tutor baby is two year old King James II of England. It is actually a cropped out section of a painting by Anthony Van Dyke of the three children of King Charles I and Henrietta Marie originally painted in the 1630's. The apple he is holding was used by the Artist to coax him away from the Spaniel he was playing with at the time. Unfortunately, King James II turned out the be a deplorable Monarch and died in exile at the age of 68.
