For sale is a rare and impressive Pioneer PLC-1700 direct drive turntable – a true collector’s item from the golden era of Pioneer – rarely available in this condition.
This model was originally designed for the Japanese domestic market and is renowned for its build quality, elegant design, and audiophile sound characteristics.
Key Features:
Direct drive with Hall motor – extremely stable rotation and excellent torque
Heavy chassis with real wood veneer – classic vintage look
Precision S-shaped tonearm by Micro Seiki – silky smooth movement and excellent tracking
Manual operation – full control over analog playback
Strobe light, pitch control (±), speed selection (33 / 45 RPM)
Built-in spirit level for perfect alignment
Original smoked acrylic dust cover in excellent condition
The turntable is in outstanding technical and cosmetic condition. The motor runs smoothly and consistently, the pitch control responds precisely, and the tonearm bearings are free from play. All buttons and switches function flawlessly.
No repairs or modifications have been made.
