Vintage vase with marbled effect, Kupittaan Savi Finland 1960s

Vintage ceramic vase with a glaze featuring a swirling, marbled effect in shades of green, blue, and cream. Made by Kupittaan Savi in 1960s - 1970s. Height is 16 cm. Slight traces of use on the base. It has an old paper label "Hämeen kauppa osakeyhtiö".

Kupittaan Savi was a renowned Finnish ceramics company founded in 1921 in Turku, Finland. It was known for its high-quality pottery and innovative designs. The company produced a wide range of items, mostly decorative pieces, often in Scandinavian minimalist style. It remained a beloved name in Finnish ceramics until its closure in 1977, leaving behind a legacy of collectible works.
