Satyricon and Munch showcases two of the most known Norwegianartists, Edvard Munch and Satyricon, combined in one groundbreakingpiece of art, breaking the boundaries between high culture andblack metal music. The new music, created by Satyricon mastermindSatyr, is written in the shape of a so-called musical work, it is56 minutes long and transcends any genre barriers. Although themusic was written for the art exhibition, it clearly has theemotional depth to take on any environment outside the exhibitionroom. More dark ambient than black metal.
