Modernist bronze handmade necklace with pendant from limited edition Luistari series. It was produced only in 1996.

The prototype for this pendant was found among Middle Ages Viking jewelry from Luistari settlement in Western Finland.

Since the 1930s, inspired by the finest examples of ancient Finnish, Scandinavian, and Karelian art found by archaeologists, Kalevala Koru crafted a large series of modernist bronze and silver jewelry. Today they are considered classics of Nordic design.

Kalevala Koru is one of the most famous jewelry companies in the Nordics.

Chain length is 60 cm, pendant is 4.3 cm. Marked KK by manufacturer. Excellent vintage condition.
