The protective plastic is still on the neck adjustment cover and the tuner window .

This Guitar was a factory second and therefore never met the QC of OVATION standards and not allowed to be Branded and sold as an Ovation .

The Mahogany Neck Was stained wrong on the back and therefore resanded and re-laqered along with the Classic Ovation signature headstock.(1 scratch and an air pocket at the top of the headstock see pictures )
The Fretboard had a hight issue at the body end and was tapered and reglued .

As a Result The Hardwood decorations were removed which caused minor miscolourations after they were reset .It was refinished in a Ruby Red Sunburst after the corrections.
