Grammy nu-goth/post-metal hotshots Evanescence released thehighly acclaimed Fallen album in 2002 and it spent 43 weeks on theBillboard Top 10 and was certified 7x Platinum in the United Statesalone and sold more than 17 million copies worldwide. The tour forthat album would be a massive success and the band saw themselvesplaying at the Rock Am Ring festival in Germany in 2003, this wouldbe their debut at the festival but they would return several timesduring the next ten year.
