A Frantic Film-within-a-film.
This free-wheeling ´film-within-a-film´ offers a frantic ride through the tumultuous film-production process. There is total pandemonium on the set; a conniving, financially-strapped Producer on the edge of a nervous breakdown, a washed-up Director with one last shot at resurrecting his career, a young actress sleeping her way to the top, and a temperamental star strung out on booze and alcohol.
The story is about Director Paul Sullivan, who wanted to look behind the eyes of pure evil by filming a biographical picture about Belgian mass murderer Freddy Lebecq.
The situation becomes complicated when the victims´ families try to shut down the production. The two parties clash and a media circus ensued. The controversy intensifies and becomes an international sensation.
