Snabb recension:
"I bought these along with the 400se, iBasso SR2, HD560s and Hi-x65, just to see what the fuss was about. I also tried K712, Oppo PM-3, Grado SR80e, SHP9500, Ollo SX4, Quad ERA, Audeze LCD1. I kept only the Deva Pro as I felt they were a better package. Great comfort, great soundstage, good imaging, good detail, good bass, good punch, reasonable build. Overall great value. I did try the BT module but didn't like the stock sound. I'm a portable guy even at home so I use these wired with a Qudelix 5k. I do feel they need EQ to sound right to my ear and this is easy on the Qudelix. However, doing this means raising the volume to around 80%. Plan to try a balanced cable if I keep them. FYI I have ordered the Edition XS just to see what an extra £200 gets me. They have the same power requirements on paper, so let's see... Could I be getting better sound with a desktop stack - most definitely, but portability and tuning are really important to me and I've yet to hear better than the Deva Prop plus Qudelix, especially at this price point.
Edit: So the Deva pro are my pick over the Edition XS. I found them more musical, more comfortable and less critical of poorer recordings. "
My three cents: they actually open up with decent DAC/Amp combo. Could benefit from quality made balanced cable, didn't get around to test any though...
