Beskrivelse
late-1970s Lee Denim Jacket with Harley Davidson FXR Embroidery – Perfect Fit + Bonus Vintage Patch
This is a stunning 1970s Lee denim jacket, customized with a rare Harley Davidson FXR embroidery.
It fits me just perfectly (180cm / 73kg) with a slightly relaxed silhouette — the sleeves are long enough, which is hard to find.
Honestly, I wasn’t a fan of 70s denim jackets before, but this one completely changed my mind. The beautiful vintage fading and excellent proportions make it incredibly attractive.
If I’m being greedy, a slightly longer body length would have been ideal, but it’s still absolutely wearable and looks fantastic.
Bonus: I’m including an unused original Harley Davidson FXR patch from the 1980s.
A truly unique piece — and frankly, I’m hesitant to let it go.
The measurements are shown in the photos. There are several dirts, damages, coloration due to its age and actual motorcycle usage by a FXR ride.
The FXR is actually a famous Harley Davidson motorcycle model launched in 1982.
• FXR was known for its performance handling (better frame rigidity and suspension).
• It was part of Harley’s attempt to make bikes that could compete with Japanese motorcycles in speed and handling.
• “FX” means Harley’s big twin engines, and “R” stood for “Rubber-mounted” engine (to reduce vibration).
The Lee tag has the words, “sanforized” so this jacket is from late 1970s. As far as I know, from the 80s, they do not use the word in the tag anymore at least in Lee denim jackets.
