The 2540th Anniversary of the Birth of Confucius is a commemorative stamp issued by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the People's Republic of China on September 28, 1989, to commemorate the 2540th anniversary of the birth of Confucius.
The stamp set consists of two stamps. Lectures at the Apricot Altar (2-1) depicts Confucius lecturing at the Apricot Altar; and Travels Around the Countries (2-2) depicts Confucius' travels around the countries. Here are two sets.
