This is a beautiful traditional Sámi knife, made by LAPIN PUUKKO in a wonderful design.
The knife has a polished wooden handle with natural grain and brass fittings, shaped for a secure grip. The blade is made of white metal and is engraved with "LAPIN PUUKKO FINLAND"

It fits perfectly into its original leather sheath, which features finely tooled motifs and a layered leather detail at the front, along with leather straps.
The sheath is marked with an embossed LAPIN PUUKKO".

A great collector’s piece with character and history.

Very small signs of wear to the surface, some crackling to the polish on the handle according to age and a bit of dirt marks to the sheath that should be able to be easily cleaned. Looks wonderful
