— " The VISVIM NAPIER DRIVING COAT is a sophisticated take on classic motoring outerwear, combining British-influenced design with Visvim’s signature Japanese craftsmanship and fabrication depth.
Cut from dense, tightly woven 100% cotton drill gabardine, specially developed in Japan. The fabric has a crisp structure, excellent wind resistance, and a dry, tactile surface that softens over time with wear and washing.
The coat is lightly padded with a layer of polyester insulation, sandwiched between the outer shell and the lining. This adds subtle volume and warmth while maintaining the coat’s lightweight, unrestrictive feel. It’s designed for transitional weather—ideal for cool spring and autumn days.
Fully lined with smooth cotton cupro, offering natural moisture wicking and a silky handfeel against base layers. This helps balance warmth with breathability, keeping the wearer comfortable during both movement and rest.
Garment-dyed in a rich matte black, the coat is finished with an enzyme wash that gives the surface slight tonal fading and a broken-in texture. Each piece features unique variation as a result of this manual process.
Details include angled welt hand pockets and bias-cut underarm panels for improved mobility. Inside, the seams are neatly finished with binding or French seams, underscoring Visvim’s tailoring-level construction." —
