Vintage 1940s British Army Military Bush Jacket
Likely WWII or post-war officer’s utility coat

Size: Small (Too tight for me at 180cm / 73kg — better suited for a 165cm build)

Material: relatively light cotton drill
Color: Khaki / Sandstone beige
Details:
• Button front with mixed brown tones
• Leather-wrapped belt buckle with beautiful patina
• Four patch pockets with button flaps
• Classic pleated back with military shaping

Condition:
• Great for its age
• Minor scuffs, scratches, signs of real use
• Belt buckle leather is aged but solid
• All buttons intact

This isn’t a fashion piece — it’s a ghost from the past. A real-deal British military field jacket, possibly officer-issued, likely saw duty across colonial or desert campaigns. Lightweight but built like armor. Cut short, cinched tight.

It’s too small for me, sadly — but it deserves a body that fits it.
If you know what this is, you know you won’t find another in this condition easily.

I’ve seen the same design in single-breasted British Army jackets from the 1940s, but I’ve never come across a double-breasted version like this.
There’s a faded date stamp box near the collar, but unfortunately the text is no longer visible — only the faint outline of the square remains.
