VINTAGE 50-TAL Rock coat PINGVIN / GKA belt back 1950s

Gorgeous double breasted wool coat from the 1950s in excellent vintage condition. Tailored in Sweden by Pingvin / GKA (Göteborgs Konfektion AB) of a heavy wool fabric in a monochrome charcoal gray. Interior is black rayon satin. Beautifully constructed with medium size lapels and shoulders, tapered waist, belt back, and an excellent drape. Turn back cuffs with button tabs, single back vent, two exterior flap pockets and two inner pockets. Excellent vintage condition. Light wear on the cusps of exterior seams and cuffs, light interior wear. Two small and inconspicuous moth marks on the bottom of the tail and an area with significant moth marks on the middle of the back, luckily placed right behind the back belt so not visible when worn (see final pic). The coat has been frozen for 48 hours and treated with lavender and cedarwood. Lavender satchel is included. A really beautiful mid 1950s double breasted wool coat in excellent vintage condition.
