Hasselblad Possibly Prototype f. CFV, Acute Matte D Focusing Screen – Mint Condition #407

This Focusing Screen is in Mint condition overall, the metal frame shows
very little signs of use and the glass appears to have no marks or any
sign of use.

This is an interesting Acute Matte Focusing Screen, with a central white
cross and black marks for a 27x17mm image. It does not appear in any
Hasselblad catalogue but it comes with the original Hasselblad box and
shows the typical rainbow diffraction of an Acute Matte. I'm pretty sure
this is an Acute Matte D prototype for CFV sensor, the black marks in
the center match a 27x17mm sensor (2x3 aspect ratio).

This Focusing Screen has the same brightness, contrast and 3D effect of an
Acute Matte D 42204 or 42210 (I compared them side to side), it's
important to note though that it does not have the 2 typical notches on
the metal frame. Therefore I consider it as a prototype that was never
marketed.
