SPECIAL OPERATION OF THE SBU “Spider WEB” FDC. Ukraine 2025

“Spider Web” is a historic special operation of the Security Service of Ukraine, as a result of which 41 Russian aircraft were simultaneously hit by GRU drones, which is 34% of all enemy strategic aviation. Among them are the Tu-95, Tu-22MZ and Tu-160, with which the occupiers shelled peaceful Ukrainian cities, as well as unique enemy reconnaissance aircraft A-50. The preparation and conduct of “Web-Site” was supervised by the Head of the SBU, Lieutenant General Vasyl Malyuk.
To strike at Russian aircraft, the SBU used 117 specially developed RRU drones. The UAVs and modular buildings in which they were hidden were brought to the territory of the Russian Federation from Ukraine. Already in the rear of the Russian forces, the drones were delivered by trucks to locations near the military airfields of the occupying country.
June 1, 2025 - the day of military transport aviation of the Russian Federation - the roofs of the houses automatically opened and the operators of the SBU RRU-drones delivered a massive blow to enemy strategic aviation.
"Web" became one of the brightest pages of the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people against the Russian occupiers.
