For sale: the legendary Marantz 2275, manufactured on June 17, 1976.
This is a much rarer model than the cult 2270, as fewer units were produced and the production run was shorter. To my surprise, the Marantz 2275 sounds just as good – if not better. It delivers powerful bass, a clear midrange, and detailed highs. In character, it is closer to the uncompromising 2325 than the 2270.

My unit looks like new. It is one of the most beautiful Marantz receivers I have ever owned. The receiver has undergone a thorough service: it was carefully cleaned inside and out, the potentiometers were cleaned, capacitors in the power supply (not the main filters) were replaced, and electrolytics on the power amp boards were renewed. The output transistors remain original. The bulbs were replaced with LEDs that shine in a very subtle way – the effect is fantastic, and honestly the best reproduction of the original dial lighting I have seen. The transformer works absolutely silently. The cabinet is in stunning condition. A service of this scope usually costs around 450–700 EUR.

The receiver sounds excellent!
