This amp won a place under my television. Delegated my Cambridge Azur to backup. The Plus A35 plays nice!! Love it!

This unit is fantastic. Punchy, dynamic and heaps of range. Never sounds hot though and the bass is insane. Brilliant separation that feels like it is in the room not hiding inside the speakers. I've used the Sanyo JA2003 as my main amp for years and tried many amps along the way that never came close. The A35 is the one. I honestly think this is my dream amp. It does like to be run louder than my JA2003 though- so it's not really a an amp that likes to power on the lower volume. Its mind blowing that an amp from 1979/ 80 can sound this good.

Very good reproduction of middle and treble. Bass are a little bit rounded, but still good. Good dynamic. Warm and never fatiguing sound.

Real 50W with big power supply, this is a sleeper. The best is the sound, warm, relaxed and smooth yet punchy. Often compared to finest british sound e.g. some Rotel integrated. Fixed a buzz in ours years ago (used as real life listening setup in our studio): still singing!

I agree with the other reviewers. This is a very musical and very robust amp that defies its small size. Its direct coupled circuit allows it to really deliver on the low end. I am using it to amplify a Yamaha electric piano and this amp makes it sound like a huge grand.

I have had this amp since new in 1980. The music reproduction is so good I haven't thought to replace it in 38 years.
Warm mosfet output transistors give a non-fatiguing performance.
Power switch replaced and one output transistor. Not bad for almost 40 years of service!

very good amplifier - powerful and great sound
Commentsre: Plus A35Submitted by Siem Donders on July 27th, 2016.I own a A35 together with the T35 tuner and use it in my studio.
Combined with a pair of Dynaudio speakers it's a fine match.
36 years old yet, still working perfect. Sanyo made good stuff at that time.
Highly recommended.
