Ainur is back with a their 2021 epic album, War Of The Jewels.Ainur is a progressive rock orchestra / symphonic metal thatperforms music dedicated to J.R.R. Tolkien’s world and vision:their records are focused on the musical version of Tolkiens TheSilmarillion. Ainur is made up of: Luca Catalano, on guitars, andvocals; Marco Catalano, on drums and vocals; Alex Armuschio, onkeyboards and lead vocals; Max Clara, on lead vocals; RobertaMalerba, on lead vocals; Elena Richetta, on lead vocals; GiuseppeFerrante, on bass and contrabass; Luca Marangoni, on violin; CarloPerillo, on viola; Daniela Lorusso, on cello; Cristiano Blasi, onflutes; and Chiara Marangoni, on horns. And on the War Of TheJewels album we also have guests such as Roberto Tiranti, onvocals; Ted Nasmith, providing narration; and Derek Sherinian, onkeyboards. This album has complex progressive structure that meetsa delicate texture all across the structure, all blended withrefined classical arrangements and powerful metal riffs. Ainur havebeen working hard composing and arranging their music to create thebest tribute to Tolkien’s histories that they can.
