Desde sus primeras notas con “I’ve Had It Hard”, el disco explota y ya no hay quien lo pare. Al ritmo de los coros se anuncia su llegada (“Diddley Bo Diddeley Bo Diddley Bo Diddley”, cantan) como retazos innegociables de su supuesto o aparente carácter histriónico a los que, de hecho, terminará por hacer una referencia directa con el título Bo Diddley-itis. Le sigue “Woman”, un tema que engancha y aturde a partes iguales:

Pero lo mejor de todo aún está por llegar, en primer lugar con “Bad Trip”, de título acertadísimo, un brutal tema de blues-funk de una agresividad demoledora y con aires lisérgicos, y en segundo lugar, con la ya mencionada Bo Diddley-Itis, otro tema desatado que parece pensado para rasgarse la camisa y cantar a grito pelado en una orgía de blues improvisado. Diddley nos anima desde el altavoz del salón a cantar y bailar con él, y no te vas a poder resistir. Entre medio quedan otras joyas como “Infatuation”, “Look At Grangma” y “A Good Thing”, pero es que el nivel de este disco es muy, muy alto.
