1964, Martti Viikinniemi Finland, Silver Halsband med Blå Sten

A magnificent modernist silver necklace in 813 silver with a fantastic stone in the center.
The pendant has a lovely clean modern design and the cabochon stone shows soft shades of white and blue with beautiful natural inclusions.

Inside it is marked MV for Martti Viikinniemi, the Finnish crown mark, 813H for silver content, the city hallmark, and L7 for the year 1964.
The chain has a silver mark on the connecting ring of the clasp. It is too small to read but looks and feels like silver.

The condition is lovely with a beautiful patina. A super unique design, very elegant and not something you see every day.

Note that in the photos with the black background the stone looks more greenish and opaque because of the lighting. The photos with the white background show the stone’s real color more accurately.
