The Analogue Solutions Generator is a performance-focused, multi-channel analogue step sequencer designed for real-time manipulation without menu diving.
Core Technical Architecture
Sequencing Channels: Features three parallel tracks of 16 steps each.
CV Outputs: Each track provides independent analogue control voltages ranging from 0 to 5 volts.
Gate Logic: Includes standard Gate outputs and a unique ”Flipped Gate” (inverted) output on Channel C, which opens only when steps are off, allowing for complex rhythmic counterpoints.
Voltage Generator: A dedicated section with six gold-plated touch pads.
Functions as a standalone six-note interval keyboard or a transposer for the main sequence.
The pads are pressure-sensitive, allowing for real-time control over parameters like tempo, intensity, or fill.
Rhythmic Variation (IReTiGaC): Utilizes a patent-pending ”Intuitive Real Time Gate Control” system with four rotary knobs.
Each knob influences a group of four steps (e.g., knob 1 controls steps 1, 5, 9, and 13), altering pattern intensity and density on the fly.
Connectivity and Control
Clocking Options: Features an internal analogue LFO clock with CV speed control.
MIDI Integration: Unlike standard MIDI sequencers, it uses MIDI note 60 (Middle C) as a clock trigger, allowing it to sync perfectly with a DAW by ”playing” notes from the DAW's timeline.
Patchability: Extensive I/O including individual CV outputs and transpose inputs for each row, plus CV inputs for Start/End loop points, Fill, and Intensity.
