Anki Vector robot, not working

A boxed Anki Vector with charging station, cube and a pack of replacement tracks.

It’s not working unfortunately. It’s been in storage for a while, but I can’t get it to wake up again. A green light appears on his back when holding the top button while on the charger but nothing on his screen, and it disappears if you lift it off the charger. Maybe the battery is dead?

At one point it did manage to drive into a sink of water, but it was stripped, dried in rice, reassembled, and worked fine for another year before being put away. At that point there were no lines on the screen, but as it won’t turn on I can’t check the status. The replaceable battery in the cube is dead. It’s in pretty decent external condition apart from a few small scuffs on the body and screen. I did find two small screws in the box; assumption is that these were missed during reassembly.

Basically, it should hopefully be possible to resurrect it, but primarily I’d recommend purchasing to have spares for another Vector.
