Ger Maas was born on February the 4th, 1931 in Wiltz in the Luxembourg Ardennes and died in 2020. Studies at the ”Ecole Supérieure des Arts Modernes”, Paris (1949-1951), at the ”Akademie der Bildenden Künste”, Munich (1952 - 1956) and at the ”Schule des Sehens”, Salzburg (1961), where she was the pupil of Oskar Kokoschka. Her first exhibition was in 1955 in Munich. Attached to the preservation of her independence, this artist has made her way, faithful to her choice of art, a reflection of her deep convictions. The most diverse audiences - both nationally as internationally - are interested in her work.
