A beautiful Royal Copenhagen porcelain figurine titled “Faun on a Stump,” designed by Theodor Madsen in 1915.
LThe figure shows a young faun with a boy’s body and the legs of a goat, small horns, elongated ears, and a short tail. He sits playfully on a log, holding it in the front and leaning back with a charming smile.

Glazed in soft natural tones of beige, grey, and green, the expression and craftsmanship are really fantastic.

On the base it is marked Royal Copenhagen Denmark, with the three blue waves, model number 1738, painter’s initials, and a line under the “G,” dating this piece to 1969–1973.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Looks really beautiful.
