From the beginning, the game incorporates the tutorial into its story line. Unearthing Mars 2 gives players just enough upgrade after each chapter, so players don’t feel overwhelmed. After some basic mechanisms introduced, Unearthing Mars 2 provides players a brand new mechanism, Focus. This is where the game starts to get really interesting.

Focus enables players to slow down time for 2 seconds. In those 2 seconds, enemy weak spot is exposed. Players can use this function as they please.
