Price Proposal

Click on "Propose price" within a listing and enter the amount you are willing to pay for the item. After that, simply wait for a response.

Yes, just like bids on Tradera, your price proposal is binding when the seller chooses to accept it. If the proposal is declined or the response deadline has passed, you are no longer obliged to complete the transaction.

You can propose a price on listings that only have a buy-now price. If the seller has previously received a price proposal and responded that the item is no longer available, it is no longer possible to submit a price proposal on that listing.

You will receive a response to your request in the messaging function if the price proposal has been declined by the seller. You then have the opportunity to propose a new price up to 3 times per listing.

You cannot send a price proposal that is more than 25% below the listed price. (We recommend keeping within 5–20% to increase the chance of the seller accepting).

You will receive a message on Tradera, where you can simply choose to accept or decline the price proposal you have received.

The price proposal automatically expires after 24 hours. After that, it is no longer possible to accept a price proposal and the person who submitted it is no longer obliged to complete the transaction.

It is currently not possible to disable price proposals, but as a seller you decide for yourself whether you wish to act on the proposals or not.

Yes, it is possible to send price proposals on all active buy-now listings.

If you have a business account, you need to enable messages in your settings, as the request is sent via messages. You will then be able to receive requests on buy-now listings created on Tradera.

The best way to avoid missing price proposals is to use the app — you will receive a push notification as soon as a proposal is sent, and can quickly and easily respond to the request.
