What compensation can I receive if something happens to my shipment?

Shipping companies provide exactly the same compensation in Sweden and across the entire EU.

• DSV (DB Schenker) – Compensates up to SEK 5,000 within the EU
• PostNord – Compensates up to SEK 5,000 within the EU
• DHL – Compensates up to SEK 5,000 within the EU

How does package size work for shipments outside Sweden?

Our Small, Medium, and Large sizes work the same everywhere, so there is no difference regardless of where you send the item.

What shipping price do buyers outside Sweden see?

They see the price of shipping to their own country. They never see the domestic shipping cost within Sweden.

What happens to tracking when the package changes carrier?

Tracking works all the way to delivery. You can see where the package is at every step, just like for shipments within Sweden.

What shipping option should I use when using discounted stamps?

You should select Other shipping method and set Sweden as the region. If you wish, you can clarify in your listing that you are using discounted stamps.

How do payment methods work outside Sweden?

All buyers pay on Tradera in the same way, regardless of where they live. They choose a payment method at checkout, and the money is added to your balance. Lead times are the same.

How do customs and VAT work within the EU?

Within the EU, private individuals do not need to consider customs or VAT. For businesses, this may affect accounting, which is why businesses can still choose Sweden as the region if they wish.

What happens if someone writes to me in another language?

All messages are translated automatically, so you can write in your own language and buyers can do the same. You will understand each other without any issues.

I usually sell with free shipping — do I risk covering a high cost if a buyer outside Sweden purchases the item?

No. For international sales, the amount that domestic Swedish shipping would have cost is deducted from the price paid by the international buyer. In other words, the cost is the same for you, and the international buyer receives a discount.

Some items should not be sold for export. How is this handled?

In certain categories, we have applied restrictions that automatically limit these items to Sweden as the region. As a seller, you do not need to take any action.
