While primarily rooted in the classic doommetal tradition (such as The Obsessed, Candlemass and Trouble), thealbum also features moments of intensity and faster tempos.Doomherre is a Swedish act formed in Stockholm and their debutalbum has been a do it yourself endeavor from start to finish. Theband recorded the album themselves and took the bold step ofestablishing their own record label, Skatbo Records. They enlistedthe help of friends and contacts for various aspects, includingmixing, mastering, cover art illustration, and logotypes. Withmembers who have previously ventured into old-school death metalwith Lobotomy, explored progressive metal with Eyekon, and madesession appearances with Katatonia, Doomherre brings a wealth ofexperience to Bonegoat.
