1916 WWI König Ludwig Kors + DRK Emalj Pin + München Etui – Medalj

We have a beautiful small set that includes a WWI medal, a WWII-era Red Cross pin, and a presentation box from Munich. We don't know if the medal originally came in this box, but this is exactly how we received them, and this is how we sell them.

The medal is the König Ludwig Cross from 7 January 1916, awarded during World War I. It shows King Ludwig III and comes with the blue-and-white fabric ribbon. Some surface wear and light marks, but nothing serious. The color has a soft olive tone from age.
Size of the medal: 4 × 4 cm, and 8 cm long with the ribbon.

The pin is a German Red Cross (DRK) enamel volunteer badge, made by G. Deschler & Sohn, München.
Most likely from the early WWII period.
The enamel is in good condition with light surface wear.
Size of the pin: 2.5 × 2.5 cm.

The box is marked Bayr. M. V. Kr. 3. Kl. and is originally for the Bavarian Military Merit Cross 3rd Class.
Inside it is stamped Gebrüder Hemmerle München.
The box shows age, but it still looks nice and presents the items beautifully.

Overall a charming historical set that looks fantastic.
