This add in English because i feel the TRANSLATOR often does a poor job !

I am a Danish retired Radiomechanic and Electronics Engineer doing some repair of Vintage HiFi just for fun and to settle my curiosity as an Engineer. Once dreamed of becoming designer of Audio but my roads took me to POWER ELECTRONICS instead.

I bought this AMP ONLY because i wanted to see what all the fuzz was about and the overwelming popularity of this ''little'' amp.

It was defective and it turned out it had the ''USUAL'' or known issue with aged/faulty ouput transistors. These original NEC's 2SC1060 turn bad and does all sorts of strange noisy behaviour. Since some small signal transistors also often becomes faulty i desided to REPAIR and do some PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE i prefer to call it. There is no such thing as a total restoration or refurbishment in my world simply because many of the weak components like switches and POT's are often not available at least not in a FORM AND FIT making replacement easy.

So what you get here is :
1. ALL Electrolytics are REPLACED with good quality LONG LIFE types from my stock.
2. ALL BJT Transistors replaced with more readily available EUROPEAN TYPES .
3. BIAS Pot's replaced.
4. BIAS adjusted to best THD value at 1Watt output in 8 ohm.
5. RIAA Equalization in the PHONO amplifier validated and is good.
6. Cleaning of switches/pot's with contact cleaners. ( NO GUARANTEE IT WILL LAST FOREVER ! )

All this would never have happened if it were not for my own STOCK of suitable components from my former proffessional life , it would likely have been scrapped if you could not do the repairs your self.

Cosmetics ; if you want a MINT amp this is NOT the amp for you. It is hard to judge such a thing since it is that subjective from person to person. I have tried to capture everything on pictures but hard to get it all visible at the right lighting. I would point out the DENT in the top of the FACEPLATE just above the BASS POT. I personally think it is in a FAIR and what to expect condition taking its AGE in to consideration.

I would have liked to show a picture of all the replaced components but hit the max showing the cosmetics which is more important.

Last pictures shows the packaging in STYROFOAM but it is also covered in cardbox.
It should be safe to ship at least i have done my very best. I am at the LIMIT of the max allowable dimensions of the PACKAGING so i had to be creative not to exceed 40 cm in 2 directions and 120cm of length. I dont know how picky BRING is but better be on the safe side so i had to cut a little of the STYROFOAM .

Just as an info my starting prize here is way below what i paid for it myself in a defect condition. In fact i paid 1200 DKR. I have no idea what to expect but i suspect i am in for a loss anyway but the AMP deserves another life and i have enough other equipment .
