Ship Music Box circa 1970s-lid hinges broken-music plays when wound (Weight: 224g / over 250g packed)

This item is a vintage Royal Ships Company 1805 Music Box from the 1970s

The box is made of plastic in the shape of a ship's chest and comes in two parts

However, the lid's hinges are broken and can only be lifted off and on and is not attached

The box plays a classic old musical tune when wound and the winder is on the base (see pictures)

The box's exterior is worn with visible signs of aging and wear but is still a nice collectible item suitable for holding small items of jewelery or other knick-knacks inside
