You are bidding on a Iittala Mariskooli 155mm Bowl in Black. Perfect condition. This Mariskooli bowl may have been produced earlier as it is heavier in weight than "newer" Mariskooli bowls of the same dimension. Marimekko stamp is embossed under the foot.

Iittala's Marimekko bowl is a timeless classic, made of pressed coloured glass. Iittala launched the Mariskooli (Maribowl) in 1965. The footed bowls first came in one size (height 15,5 cm / 6.1 in) and five colors. Over the years, Iittala introduced many new Mariskooli colors. And a smaller version of the bowl (height 12 cm / 4.7 in) were also produced in 2008–2014.
The Marimekko bowl was designed over 50 years ago and it’s still today a desired gift and has become a collector’s item. This traditional Finnish goblet comes in a large variety of colours and is beautiful both alone and in a group. Used for serving and for decoration, you will find a Marimekko Mariskooli bowl in almost every house in Scandinavia!
