ABOUT THE MOVIE

In the highest part of the forest of Cecebre are you and D'D'Abondo, a wealthy and miserly couple who, driven by their own interests, often put the lives of the forest inhabitants at risk.

The forest, which in the eyes of humans does not appear to have life, reveals itself in all its splendor when they disappear: nature is transformed and animals emerge that live in joyful and lively harmony. But when humans plant in the middle of the forest a haughty post, which is very important to people, the lives of animals and trees is at risk.

Furi, a nice, rain-cloud-like male mole who is in love with Linda, a precious little fox, the cat Morinha, the mouse Piorno, Luci, the firefly and all the animals in the forest, and his friend Carvalho, will try to stop human intervention so they do not lose their magic forest.

This 3D computer animated film won several awards at international festivals, including Fantasporto, in which it won the Critics' Prize, and was honored with Goya for best animated film and best original song. It was inspired by Wenceslao Fernández Flórez's eponymous book, written in 1950.
