The EARLY RIDER Belter children's bike with 16 inch wheels is super lightweight, low-maintenance and extremely sturdy. The belt drive is particularly durable. In addition, it eliminates need for tiresome cleaning and lubrication of the chain, because the belt always runs smoothly. Together with the powerful four-bearing cassette hub, an amazing amount of propulsion can be generated and the young biker will even master small climbs confidently. The aluminium frame and the high-quality Ritchey parts forgive the one or other carelessness of young bikers. The 2" wide tyres ensure good damping and stable handling when it gets a bit bumpy. Easy-to-operate rim brakes provide sufficient safety even when riding downhill.
A big problem of children's bikes, the weight, is a thing of the past. Normally these bikes are relatively heavy in relation to the kids and therefore difficult to handle, unpleasant to ride uphill and difficult to stop. The Belter, however, weighs only 5.9 kg, which is comparatively light.
An elegant faux leather saddle and hand-brushed aluminium also provide a sporty, urban look.
