Helt ny Siegol (numera Burgol) yakhår skoborste av premiumkvalitet tillverkad av obehandlat tyskt bokträ med det exklusiva och svårtillgängliga yakhåret som härstammar från höglandsjakarna i Tibet på 4000m höjd. Borstkanten är av kashmir gethår. Hårlängden är ca 19mm och polerytan 19.5 cm x 5.5 cm. Handgjord. Nypris: Ca 500kr.

Handgjord premium finpolerande borste med skonsamma och glänsande polerande egenskaper. På grund av de 6-radiga borsten och de extremt täta och böjda yakhåren från de tibetanska höglandsjakarna i kombination med det handdragna och extremt mjuka gethåret så uppnås en distinkt polerings effekt.
Yak hårborsten används uteslutande för finpolering av högkvalitativt läder och kännetecknas av långvarig användning; för ju längre den används, desto bättre blir polerings resultatet. Jakhårsborstarna ska aldrig tvättas då hårtossarna sväller och då kan borstveden sprängas.
The hand tufted goat hairbrush is an invention of Burgol from 2004 in cooperation with our brush manufactory in the northern Black Forest.
Like all Burgol Fine Polishing Brushes, it is drawn in by hand on the brush woods developed by Burgol.
With the Yak Hair Brush, goat hair was drawn in for the outer hair ring. This ensures an optimum level of brush hair and thus the best suitability in terms of high-gloss polishes.
The brush woods are only produced from local beech wood in the Bavarian Forest. Out of these, experienced brush makers produce high-quality brushes, which are further enhanced by the use of very special hair.
These hairs come from high land yaks, which live mainly in Tibet on over 4000 meters height. During the finishing process, the hiar is first washed up to eight times and sorted according to colour, very similar to the wool of the cashmere goat, and only then processed in our southern Baden production plant in the Upper Black Forest. No dyed hair is used at all.
Yak hair is, compared to the goat hair, somewhat stronger and curly, but just as soft as the goat. Stretching or smoothing does not work, which was proven in a two-month practical test. Therefore the length of the hair should be slightly less than 20 mm in the optimal case, otherwise the fine polishing brush has no stand and is useless for a fine polishing. In addition, there is also the reason why our brushes cannot be drawn in by machine, but have to be tufted manually.
