2011 re-issue with one bonus track

Norwegian black metal band Khold formed in Oslo in the year2000, by Gard and Sarke (currently seen in his own, self-named act,alongside Darkthrones Nocturno Culto). Khold is what emerged out ofthe ashes of the cult band Tulus. They have recorded 5 albums todate and have successfully toured with bands such as Satyricon abdBehemoth in the past. Khold is also notable for their use of oldNorse for song-titles and lyrics. `Masterpiss of Pain´ was Kholdsdebut album, released in 200 and it was recorded at Panser Studios(Arcturus, Chrome Division, Fleurety) in Oslo. This is not just analbum its an opus of raw and primitive Norwegian black metal, butwith more creeping, slow and midtempo tracks than many of theircontemporaries in the scene. The result is an album of oftenchilling atmosphere and intensity which brought Khold instantly tothe attention of the metal world upon the albums release. The albumalso features a guest appearance by Galder (Old Mans Child, DimmuBorgir) on the track `Rovnatt2´.
