We is aNorwegian stoner / space rock band formed in Oslo in 1992. The bandhave played with acts such as Turboneger, Queens Of The Stone Agesupport Motorhead on their German tour etc. The band has releasedseveral albums but it was with the Livin The Lore album that peoplereally started to take notice. And the following album, Smugglers,can be seen as the real breakthrough as it reched the No. 1 slot onthe Norwegian charts and also gave the band the Spellemannprisenaward. WE are known as an energetic live band fronted by vocalistThomas Felberg who poses in colorful attire and Indian-inspiredheadwear. With Smugglers the band abandonded their space rock styleand headed more into the Stoner field. As I said the result wasworth it as the band scooped up awards and rave reviews, and becameone of Norway’s biggest and most talked about bands at the time.The album also have a 70’s vibe to it, flavored with bombasticeffects. The title track is an amazing 10 minutes epos that is veryatmospheric, which brings back memories to Pink Floyd during theirDark Side Of The Moon and The Wall period. The guitar riff and therepetitive chorus actually make the track reallyenjoyable.
