This is a vintage Singer sewing machine; for light sewing, home use, and for children. Single-Thread chain stitch. Machine No 20-10. This cast iron miniature machine was also known as the Sew Handy; and was produced in 1948. This model is a hand crank model. The machines were marketed as a first sewing machines, not as toys. Many people learned how to sew using these machines back in the day.
The machine is in good vintage condition with some rust and paint loss; the graphics are good and the machine still cranks, needle bar goes up and down (needle not included) and the presser foot operates. It has appears to have been stored for many years.

A nice addition to the sewing machine collection and a great display piece.
