I have now almost completed sorting coins inherited from my father and these coins aren’t of interest to me!

On offer here are batch of older silver coins from France, dated from 1872 / 1916 / 1904 / 1920 / 1921 etc.

The coins are circulated and most are in fair to good condition however one or two coins are in well worn condition but the dates are legible on all!

In coin collecting, simple terms are used to grade coins:

poor - all surface detail is worn, but the date is still partially visible
fair - most of the surface has been worn, and some major detail is still visible
good - circulation has worn the surface of the coin, but major details are still visible
fine - features are less worn and some mint luster shows on the surface - most detail visible
uncirculated - features of the coin are sharp and the luster as a newly minted coin.
