George Tsalikis from Gothic Knights -Return to power cd 2021

Classic USmetal was big in the 80s but had almost dissapeared at the early tomid 90s. Only a few tried to keep the flame alive and one of themwere George Tsalikis, first as a singer in Gothic Knight and thenin Zandelle and Overlorde . Tsalikis also runs his solo project. Hereleased his first solo album in 2016. The album, The Sacrifice,was a concept album about vampires. Then in 2021 came the secondone, Return To Power, a classic heavy metal album with songs thathas some big anthem factors. Their are also steadfast double drum,heavy riffs and fast lightning solos. Songs vary from fast rockerslike the anthemic Together We Rise to mid-tempo epics like TheDragon Has Fallen, each one of them sprinkled with Euro-power metalelements, just like good old Zandelle. Which means, catchychoruses, melodic guitar leads and soaring vocals and stackedtogether to create a feelgood album. A highly enjoyablealbum
