DHL Express (for Swedish sellers)
We are now launching a new shipping option for DHL on Tradera, DHL Express, which reaches the entire world and offers insurance of up to 200,000 kr. Lightning-fast, world-class delivery! If you offer DHL Express, it will be visible on listings over 5,000 kr for Swedish buyers and on all listings for buyers outside the EU.
How do I get DHL Express?
> Make sure you have the latest available version of the app to get the correct features.
> When it launches, those of you who already have DHL will receive DHL Express automatically the next time you log in to Tradera and create a listing. Your shipping region will be updated at the same time to "Worldwide". You can always change this in your seller settings if you wish.
> If you do not yet have DHL, after the launch you will easily be able to enable DHL and DHL Express. A dialogue box will appear where you can simply accept.
> Businesses that enable DHL Express will not automatically receive "Worldwide" as their shipping region; businesses always manage region selection manually based on how they wish to handle their accounting.
Psst! Make sure you are using the latest version of the app.
With DHL Express, a delivery usually takes:
1 working day domestically 1–2 working days within Europe 2–4 working days for the rest of the world
Times are estimates and not guarantees. Deviations may occur.
Yes, insurance is always included when you book DHL Express via Tradera. For the insurance to be valid, it is important that you pack the item securely with a sturdy outer box and plenty of cushioning material. As the item will be sent by air, it is especially important that it is well packed.
The customs declaration is created automatically by Tradera and DHL Express. The buyer pays customs duties and VAT directly to DHL Express at the time of delivery or shortly afterwards. As a seller, this is nothing you need to worry about.
Tip! It is important that the listing title and description of the item are correct and clear. This is what the customs declaration is based on.
DHL covers the EU and has insurance of up to 5,000 kr.
DHL Express covers the entire world and has insurance of up to 200,000 kr.
Offer both and you have covered all possible buyers and items!
DHL Express also offers secure home delivery with signature. The buyer can choose whether they want home delivery or whether the item should be delivered to a collection point. That choice is made via DHL Express when the item is to be delivered.
The item you are selling may not be permitted to be shipped with DHL Express. There are categories that are excluded from being sent by air, as well as due to DHL Express regulations. Items in these categories will therefore not have DHL Express as a shipping option.

Sellers
In the same way as all other shipment bookings via Tradera. Once the buyer has paid, click "Book shipment" directly in your sold list, or it will be booked automatically if you have that feature enabled.
For shipments outside the EU, a customs declaration is created automatically; you as the seller do not need to do anything. Customs duties and VAT are paid by the buyer directly to DHL Express at the time of delivery or shortly afterwards.
You as the seller need to file a complaint about the shipment. In the event of damage, you should ask the buyer for photos of both the item and the packaging in order to pursue the matter with DHL.
Do I need a printer?
No, you receive a QR code which you show at the collection point, where they will print the label for you.
You drop off the parcel at a DHL service point that accepts DHL Express, find your nearest service point here.
No, you can do as you wish. Worldwide is the default when you enable DHL Express, but you can switch to EU in your seller settings.
When you create listings, they receive the shipping region you have in your settings. However, you can change it afterwards by selecting "Edit" from Your listings or from within the listing. If it has not received any bids, you can both reduce and expand the region; if it has received bids, you can only expand the region.
Once the item has been paid for and the shipment booked, the shipping label is locked to the buyer's stated address. If the address is incorrect, the shipment must be cancelled and rebooked.
DHL Express parcels are checked extra times during transit; the parcel will therefore be stopped at the first checkpoint, returned to the seller, and the seller will be charged the fee.
If the items are part of the same order, all items will be included in the documentation we generate for you.
However, if you decide to combine items from two or more orders, you will need to create your own customs documentation.

Check with the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) how it should be accounted for. In the order information, which you can access via Your sold, you will find the customs declaration if you need it for your accounting.
This may be due to two reasons:
1. You need to activate DHL Express in your seller settings, which will also activate sales to Worldwide on your upcoming listings.
2. The item you are selling may not be permitted to be shipped with DHL Express. There are categories that are excluded from being sent by air, as well as due to DHL Express regulations.

Yes, you get both when you accept; if you want to disable either of them, you can do so in your seller settings.
- Yes, you can send individual Pokémon cards with DHL Express, and you can send individual booster packs with DHL Express.
- You cannot send collector boxes or Tin boxes with DHL Express.
Why can't I send booster boxes or Tins with DHL Express? DHL Express ships its parcels by air, which means all packages are thoroughly inspected. Normally all packages are X-rayed, but with booster boxes and Tins specifically, they cannot see what is inside the package via X-ray.
DHL Express will never open a sealed booster pack. If they are unsure whether the booster pack being sent may have been opened and then resealed, they will contact the seller and then return it to the seller without opening the booster pack.
Yes, DHL Express parcels are sent by air, which means security is very thorough. The parcel will be X-rayed and the packaging – that is, the outer box you have packed the item in – will be opened so that they can see what is inside the parcel. The purpose is to verify that the item contains what the seller has stated. If DHL Express staff have opened the outer packaging, they will reseal it carefully and mark it clearly to show that it has been opened and resealed by DHL Express.
