Items sold on Tradera must be transacted on the Tradera marketplace. The purpose of our site is to sell and buy goods. An exception applies to listings of the type “For sale”, which are only available in the vehicle category.
Why do we have this rule?
When the purchase is made on Tradera, we have the ability to assist if a case is opened or if the buyer or seller needs our help in any other way. In addition, it is a way to encourage our members to follow the terms of the ad. If possible, we would like payments to be made with secure payment methods. The purpose of Tradera is to sell and buy goods and not to encourage sales on other marketplaces.
Prohibited Actions
Offering to purchase an item outside of Tradera in an ad *
Including links to marketplaces, phone numbers, email addresses, or other contact information in an ad or other descriptions. However, for support or problem-solving purposes, companies are allowed to provide contact information in their ads.*
Using contact information obtained through Tradera for marketing purposes
Making an addition to an auction that has bids, stating that the item has already been sold
Having an alias that contains or resembles a URL
Current catalogs that the buyer can order from
Selling email lists or databases containing personal information
Encouraging buyers in communication to complete purchases outside of the Tradera platform*
*With the exception of the “For sale” listing format, which is only available for vehicles.
Permitted Actions
Informing buyers in an ad that they can use Tradera's features to contact the seller
As a company, stating the organization number and the company's contact information in their Tradera store under the "Contact" page
For business sellers whose logo is designed as a domain name, having the logo in a banner in their item description or Tradera store, as long as it is not clickable or otherwise encourages sales outside of Tradera
Linking to a blog, Facebook, or other page where no sales take place
Old catalogs and catalogs with collector's value that cannot be ordered from, as long as the title or description does not contain any brands from the catalog
Books that contain lists and information, provided that the books have an ISBN number and are placed in the relevant category for books
