You need to verify your identity in order to:
Sell items
Send messages
Change your password
Add a bank account number for payments
Never verify yourself at someone else's request!
Only verify your identity when you are personally trying to do something on your account. Do not share security codes, passwords, or other codes sent to you via SMS or email.
How long does verification take?
In most cases, verification happens instantly. ReadID may take a few minutes.
Identification Services
BankID is mandatory for all Swedish accounts. We recommend Mobile BankID if you do not already have one. You can obtain it through your bank if you have a personal identity number.
MitID is mandatory for all Danish accounts. You can obtain MitID if you have a CPR number and valid identification.
