Responsibly and sustainably crafted in a small knitwear and socks atelier based in Castres, France. This atelier uses recovered machines from previously closed factories and works only with natural and high quality yarns such as yak, alpaca, mohair and silk.

CARE
Machine wash cold on gentle cycle using natural detergent (clothing can shrink 5-7% in wash) or hand wash. Air dry. Do not dry or store in direct contact with sun exposure. To reduce watches, you can air out or freeze your garments for 6-12 hours. Spot clean any stains. Knits should be stored folded.

55% linen, 30% cotton, 15% seacell.

linen Baserange's linen originates from France and Belgium and is Oeko-Tex certified. Linen is a bast fiber, meaning that the fibers are soft and flexible. It's crop requires no irrigation, chemicals for growth or chemicals for rendering into yarns. One hectare of flax absorbs more than 3.7 metric tons of CO2 and stores it in the soil thatnks to its large root system. The crop is grown in rotation, nourishing the soil for other crops, and is always GMO. A breathable fabric, linen is strong and abosrbent. It is more durable and dries faster than cotton with natural cooling properties. Futhermore, linen production is almost zero waste as flax roots are so long that almost 100% are utilized and leftovers like flax dust can be used for wall insulation. Linen gets better and softer with age and each wash.
