Crompton Perry Ltd ladies purple and green stunzie silk gown circa 1940s/1950s (Weight: 1.135kg)

The dress has no listed size but will fit an EU 34 (Please refer to measurements below)

The dress is full-length with an interwoven detail of green and purple silk

There is a green silk attachment on the left side of the dress which is worn over the shoulder/arm

The dress is lined and has a rear zip and hooks for fastening

Overall the dress is in very good condition for its age but around the zip area are signs of ageing

This isn't noticeable when the dress is worn as the layers of purple silk hide it but it could be improved by a professional seamstress

The dress has been in long-term storage and have a musty smell and would need to be cleaned professionally before being worn

The dress has the following approximate measurements:

Overall length (from behind): 125cm;

Armpit to armpit (across front): 34cm;

Waist (flat): 30cm
