The Seamasters was launched in 1948 and have achieved worldwide fame for their rugged reliability. The Seamaster family had its origins in the watches supplied to the British Airforce during the second world war. The large size medallion (19 mm diameter) was first introduced in 1958, the same year as this watch was made.

The Condition

This rare and early 2937 Seamaster is in a lovely condition. The dial is amazing - We hope the pictures of the dial talks for itself. Lovely brown/orange lume in both index’ and hands, ”creamy” white dial and original dauphne hands.

The case is in a good condition but has some signs of wear, especially at the caseback and some small signs at the side.

The crown is original and in very good condition. The crystal is also original with the Omega symbol stamped in center and got some small, light scratches.
