The Watch

Omega first introduced Ref.165.001 in 1962. This version of the model has a black dial which retains a good lustre to the surface and is set with applied faceted baton indexes. The stainless steel case retains good definition and there are some light scuffs and scratches from wear. Automatically wound, the watch is powered by Omega’s excellent calibre 552 movement with 24 jewels and precision regulation.

The Seamasters was launched in 1948 and have achieved worldwide fame for their rugged reliability. The Seamaster family had its origins in the watches supplied to the British Airforce during the second world war. The large size medallion (19 mm diameter) was first introduced in 1958, the same year as this watch was made.

It's not everyday you come across an Omega Seamaster with a beautiful dial. This example is in amazing condition - the perfect dress watch. The dial is amazing, we would say outstandig - we hope the pictures shows what we mean.

The Condition

This rare and beautiful Omega automatic Seamaster got an amazing "glossy" original dial in a great condition. The lume have developed a beautiful brown-ish creamy patina (Swiss Made T)

The case is well preserved with sharp lines and chamfers. It got some marks from wear as seen in the photos.

The crown is original and so is also the crystal with stamped logo. The crystal got some light signs of use.
